I love helping people get creative! I have ten years experience leading workshops in museums and galleries with schools, families, seniors, adults, corporate team building, and community art projects.

Here is are some private workshop options. I'm always happy to create a bespoke experience for your group.

Beginner Workshops

No stitching experience required

Visible Mending

Learn visible mending techniques. Bring your own clothes, or practice by making coasters out of scrap fabric.

2.5 hours

$200 artist fee (flat rate) + $7 per participant for materials

Travel fee may apply if outside the Kitchener Waterloo area.

Can be virtual or in-person (materials would be mailed out).

Beginner Embroidery: Stitched notecards

Have fun with felt and embroidery to make unique notecards!

2 hours

$180 artist fee (flat rate) + $5 per participant for materials

Travel fee may apply if outside the Kitchener Waterloo area.

Can be virtual or in-person (materials would be mailed out).

Beginner Embroidery: Ugly X-mas Sweater

Learn basic embroidery stitches and make 4 festive sweater ornaments! Includes a kit with all materials you need to start your stitching journey!

2.5 hours

$200 artist fee (flat rate) + $35 per participant for materials

Vincent van Gogh Embroidery Workshop

Stitch on top of a famous painting to make your own masterpiece! This workshop is linked to a Creative Confidence Kit

5 hours (either one day or two 2.5 hour days)

$400 artist fee (flat rate) + $20 per participant for materials

Embroidered Brooches

Learn how to design and make embroidered brooches!

5 hours (either one day or two 2.5 hour days)

$400 artist fee (flat rate) + $20 per participant for materials

Travel fee may apply if outside the Kitchener Waterloo area.

Can be virtual or in-person (materials mailed in advance for virtual).

Felt Ornament

Learn embroidery stitches and then design and make fabulous and detailed felt holiday ornaments!

5 hours (either one day or two 2.5 hour days)
