Make Stuff + Connect with others + Feel Good

Creative Confidence //
What is it?
Why does it matter?

Creative confidence is that feeling you get when you look at something you've made and think, “Wow! I did that!”

Making is a powerful act. It turns ideas into things people can see. It empowers us to shape and alter our surroundings. It can be an expression of love. And it gives us a much needed chance to enjoy a mindful moment.

Creative confidence has the potential to reshape how we view ourselves and the world. It shifts our mindset from "Nope, not for me" to "Yes, I'll give that a go. What's the worst that could happen?"

So, what will you create?

About Me.

My name is Shannon Quigley. I started Creative Confidence because I think creativity is good for us – individually and collectively – and I want to help people build their creative skills.

Before starting Creative Confidence, I spent 10 years running educational programs and community projects in museums & galleries in Canada and the UK. Visit my museum website for more info: www.shannonquigley.ca

I love textiles and am currently working on my online certificate in Hand Embroidery from the Royal School of Needlework. Connect with me on instagram if you enjoy dog photos and want to see craft projects I'm working on outside of Creative Connections.
